Maintenance Instructions
- The competent playground authority should ensure the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of an appropriate routine maintenance program to reduce the number of accidents and maintain the necessary and adequate levels of safety of playground equipment.
- Playground equipment should be visually and manually inspected daily.
- Playground surfaces and equipment should be cleaned periodically.
- Clamps and locking systems that assemble modular playground products should be periodically inspected. If any fasteners become loose, they should be replaced.
Instructions for use
- Playground equipment must be manufactured and installed in the playground area in accordance with the relevant EN 1176 standards.
- The playground surface must be covered with a shock-absorbing material in accordance with EN 1176 standards.
- It is necessary to ensure that playground equipment is used by users belonging to specific age groups.
- Playground equipment designated for use under parental supervision must be used under parental supervision.
- Broken and damaged products must not be used. The playground's responsible authority must take all necessary precautions to ensure these products are not used.
- If there are warnings on the playground equipment regarding the use of the relevant product, the product should be used in accordance with those warnings.
- A parent should inspect the playground's general condition before the user begins playing. If there is a situation that could negatively affect the user's health, the user should not be allowed to play and the playground authorities should be notified.
- The user must not use the equipment in a way that endangers the health of other users.
- The use of harmful substances like smoking should not be allowed on the playground.
